SAP Program Manager

Role Summary

The SAP Programme / PMO Lead will own governance, planning, execution, and delivery oversight of all SAP Technology and Integration workstreams across large, complex SAP programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end SAP programme governance, delivery cadence, and execution discipline
  
• Define and run PMO operating model (RAID, milestones, dependencies, quality gates)
  
• Drive integrated programme plans covering Build, Test, Cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare
  
• Establish SteerCo, Core Team, and Workstream governance with crisp decision frameworks
  

• Manage and align all SAP technology workstreams including:
  
• SAP S/4HANA (On-Prem / Private / Public Cloud)
  
• SAP BTP, CPI / Integration Suite
  
• ABAP, Fiori, Extensions (Clean Core aligned)
  
• Interfaces with non-SAP systems (CRM, SCM, MES, WMS, Finance, Banks, 3PLs, Tax, etc.)
  
• Oversee technical design sign-offs, transport strategy, and release governance
  

• Build and maintain integrated master plans across all SAP and non-SAP streams
  
• Proactively identify cross-stream risks, integration bottlenecks, and resource conflicts
  
• Own RAID logs and ensure risks are mitigated, not just reported
  
• Drive cutover planning, mock runs, and go-live readiness assessments
  

• Manage multiple SI partners, niche vendors, and SAP teams simultaneously
  
• Track vendor deliverables against SoW, milestones, and commercials
  
• Resolve inter-vendor conflicts and accountability gaps
  
• Act as the single point of escalation for delivery-related issues

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have

• 8-12+ years of SAP programme delivery experience
  
• Proven experience leading large SAP technology & integration programmes
  
• Strong understanding of:
  
• SAP S/4HANA architecture
  
• SAP BTP & Integration patterns
  
• SAP to non-SAP integrations
  
• Hands-on experience running PMO frameworks for complex SAP landscapes
  
• Strong command over planning tools, RAID management, and dependency tracking
  

• Prior experience in multi-country or global SAP rollouts
  
• Exposure to SAP RISE / Clean Core principles
  
• PMP / Prince2 / SAFe / SAP Activate certification
