SAP PP Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in SAP PP full lifecycle implementation projects, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PP functional design and solutions.
• Configure SAP PP module including Master Data, Demand Management, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Capacity Planning, Production Orders, and Shop Floor Control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as MM, SD, QM, and PM to ensure seamless integration and data flow.
• Provide functional support and troubleshoot production planning and manufacturing issues post-implementation.
• Conduct user training sessions and prepare comprehensive documentation (functional specs, process flows, test cases).
• Identify process improvement opportunities and suggest enhancements to optimize SAP PP processes.
• Support data migration and validation during project phases.
• Work closely with project managers and technical teams to ensure project delivery within scope and timeline.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

o Implement and optimize MRP processes to ensure efficient production planning and inventory management.

MRD (Material Requirements Determination)

o Facilitate accurate MRD to support production schedules and resource allocation.

PPPI (Production Planning Process Integration)

o Integrate PPPI to streamline production processes and enhance operational efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on SAP PP functional consulting experience.
• Experience in at least 2-3 full lifecycle SAP PP implementation projects.
• Strong expertise in Production Planning processes including demand planning, MRP, production order processing, capacity planning, and reporting.
• Good knowledge of SAP integration with MM, SD, QM, and PM modules.

Preferred:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA PP implementation or migration.
• Knowledge of SAP PP-PI (Production Planning for Process Industries) or SAP PP-REM (Repetitive Manufacturing).
• Exposure to Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
