Support clients in the selection, implementation, and support of specific SAP modules. This role uses consulting skills, business knowledge, and SAP solution expertise to effectively integrate SAP technology into the client’s business environment to achieve the client's expected business results.

SAP Skills:

Should have at least 8+ years’ experience in SAP End-to-end implementation, roll-out, production support, enhancement, and upgrade projects

Should have experience in HANA studio to build HANA views

Should have good experience in AMDP & CDS

Should have experience and expert knowledge of ABAP Workbench, Object Oriented ABAP,

ALV reporting, Adobe forms, SMARTFORM/SAP Scripts, Webdynpro, Module pools, and Data migration techniques like BDC, LSMW, ALE/IDOCs

Should have experience in prototype, developing, and deploying custom Fiori & SAPUI5 applications using HANA Business Technology Platform, Web IDE, and Business Application Studio

Should have experience of working with:

o UI5-based prototypes and carry out prototype testing using wireframing tools.

Knowledge of SAP Build or Appgyver will be a plus o Integration techniques like Rest API, ABAP Proxy, RFC, IDOC & XML

Should have experience in developing applications in Retail business processes and in various modules including not limited to FICO/SD/MM/CAR

Soft skills:

Must have a positive and impactful Consulting Attitude, A Can-do attitude is key for this role.

For the successful delivery of a project, time is of the essence, Hence a task-level timebound approach would be a key skill the consultant must possess.

Must have experience working in a multicultural and diverse environment and be able to develop Relationship Building with internal and external team members.

Communication:

Must have strong and positive verbal and written communication skills.

Must be able to discuss the specific subject area requirements with business users and stakeholders in a detailed manner.

Must have a strong listening capability along with analytical thinking, Must be able to comprehend the business needs in simple language with industry examples.

Should be proactive in communication, understanding customer requirements, aligning deliverables to expectations, and ensuring a seamless experience from planning to execution

The majority of Groupsoft customers are based out of North America and Europe, hence working hours flexibility would be required.

The position will also entail global travel on time to time-to-time basis, hence the candidate must be ready to travel onsite for a short duration.

Considering SAP products/solutions are always evolving, new versions and technologies learnings are key for consulting success,

The consultants need to be on top of the learning curve and keep on building new skills in the different modules of SAP.

Key Job Responsibilities:

The Consultant facilitates the implementation and support of SAP modules to enhance the client’s business functionality and overall performance while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.

Should be able to articulate business requirements and propose SAP solutions.

Should have experience in understanding SAP Implementation project methodology, phases, and work as per tight timelines as per project schedules/ resources.

Should be able to analyze the current business processes and scenarios of the client and recommend/develop solutions to meet the client's needs.

Should be responsible primarily for the successful implementation of the SAP module, providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products to clients and other stakeholders.

Should have experience in managing complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved procedures.

Should demonstrate the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise documentation and discussion.

Consultants must have the ability to understand the specific area project risks and be able to engage the right stakeholders on a timely basis.

Should be able to contribute to pre-sales, customer demos, Retail roadmaps, Customer POCs

Should be able to lead in-house initiatives and focus groups to create knowledge assets and services

Should be able to improve efficiency of delivery through knowledge assets & services creation

Should be able to ramp up internal colleagues

Should have experience in managing customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle with a proactive approach and positive attitude. .

Eligibility

University degree preferred

Minimum of 8+ years of experience in SAP HANA modeling & ABAP

Should have at least four end-to-end implementations, roll-out, production support, enhancement, and upgrade projects.

SAP certification is an added advantage
