About The Opportunity

A leading ERP consulting practice in the Enterprise Software / SAP Finance & Tax Compliance sector seeks a hands-on SAP FICO Consultant with deep tax-engine expertise. This on-site role in India will drive end-to-end finance and tax implementations, integrations, and statutory compliance for large-scale SAP landscapes.

India — On-siteRole & Responsibilities

Lead design and configuration of SAP FI and CO modules for tax-aware business processes, including GL, AP, AR, and cost accounting integration.
Implement and maintain tax determination logic and tax master data for India GST and multi-jurisdiction scenarios.
Integrate SAP with external tax engines and tax services, design interfaces (IDoc/ALE/API) and validate end-to-end tax calculations.
Develop and execute test plans (unit, integration, user acceptance) for tax scenarios, e-invoicing flows, and month-end statutory reporting.
Troubleshoot production tax issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective fixes and performance optimizations.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, indirect tax teams, ABAP/Basis colleagues, and external auditors to ensure compliance and effective knowledge transfer.
