Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, build, and maintain applications within ERP/CRM systems (primarily Salesforce). The role involves collaborating with project teams to deliver scalable solutions, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to reusable assets and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop applications/modules as per user stories and design specifications.
- Write, debug, and test high-quality code with 95%+ coverage.
- Participate in code reviews, release cycles, and defect management.
- Conduct impact analysis, provide effort estimation, and participate in sprint planning.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and suggest improvements.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, reusable components, and best practices.
- Support and improve deployment, sandbox refresh, and release management processes.
- Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and project SLAs.
Must-Have Skills
- Salesforce Development: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components
- Declarative Tools: Flows, Process Builder, Custom Objects, Validation Rules, Page Layouts
- Integrations: Salesforce REST/SOAP APIs, external system integrations
- Data Handling: SOQL/SOSL, Data Loader or equivalent tools
- Deployment & Release: Hands-on experience with production deployments and error handling
- Standards: Salesforce best practices, code reviews, secure coding
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, team collaboration, and mentoring skills
- Agile: Working knowledge of Scrum or Kanban methodologies
Good-to-Have Skills
- Salesforce Sales Cloud expertise
- Sandbox management and refresh experience
- Knowledge of other Salesforce products (Service Cloud, Experience Cloud)
- Basic understanding of Salesforce DevOps tools (e.g., Gearset, Copado)
- Experience resolving production issues and incident management
- Participation in hackathons, knowledge sharing initiatives
Experience Range
- Relevant Salesforce Development Experience: 3+ years minimum
Performance Measures
- High test coverage (>95%) and reduced defect leakage
- Completion of Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I mandatory, Developer II preferred)
- On-time and quality delivery of assigned tasks/modules
- Active contribution to reusability assets and team learning
- Effective mentoring of junior developers
Additional Information
- Interview Process: 2 Technical rounds + 1 Client round
- Hybrid model with 3 days in office per week
