Job Title: Sales Trainer Location: Bangalore Job Type: Full-Time | Work From Office Department: Sales Position Overview We seek a dynamic and experienced Sales Trainer to lead our growing sales teams' hiring, onboarding, training, and continuous development. This pivotal role supports the growth of a high-performance sales organization that includes Inside Sales Representatives, Business Development Executives, Team Leads, Assistant Sales Managers, and Sales Managers. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sales, training, and coaching, with the capability to design and execute scalable training programs that significantly improve sales performance. Key Responsibilities 1. Hiring & Onboarding Partner with the recruitment team to identify, screen, and onboard top sales talent. Design and deliver structured onboarding programs to equip new hires for success. 2. Training & Development Create, deliver, and regularly update training modules on sales processes, CRM tools, objection handling, negotiation, communication, and product knowledge. Customize learning programs for varied roles (Inside Sales, BDRs, Team Leads, Managers). Implement certification programs and assessments to measure progress and readiness. 3. Coaching & Performance Enhancement Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions, call audits, and in-depth performance analysis. Identify individual and team skill gaps and develop improvement plans. Foster a culture of continuous learning, feedback, and self-improvement. 4. Sales Process & Best Practices Standardize and promote Edstellars sales methodologies and best practices. Collaborate closely with Sales Leadership to ensure training is aligned with business objectives. 5. Data, Metrics & Reporting Track training effectiveness using KPIs such as ramp-up time, quota attainment, and win rates. Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders, highlighting successes and areas for development. Qualifications Required: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Masters preferred). 8+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 2 years in a training, coaching, or enablement role. Demonstrated success in training and developing Inside Sales, BDRs, and Sales Managers. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions. Proficiency in CRM platforms, LMS tools, and sales enablement technologies. Preferred: Experience in SaaS, EdTech, or Corporate Training sectors. Sales certifications (e.g., Sandler, Challenger, MEDDIC) are a plus. Background in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.
