Sales and Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute robust sales strategies to meet revenue targets and drive business growth for digital learning and assessment products.
  • Identify and engage key Government departments and agencies across the assigned territory, presenting technology-led solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to closing deals and post-sale relationship management.
  • Foster long-term client relationships by understanding client requirements and offering customized, scalable solutions.
  • Conduct detailed market research, analyze competitor activities, and identify new opportunities for business expansion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (product, delivery, marketing, legal, finance, etc.) to ensure seamless client engagement and solution delivery.
  • Prepare persuasive presentations, proposals, and marketing collateral to effectively communicate the value proposition.
  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics and pipeline activities for data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide regular updates and sales forecasts to senior leadership, highlighting key opportunities and challenges.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.
  • 5–8 years of experience in sales and business development; preference given to candidates with a background in the education or skill development sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the Government ecosystem and ability to engage effectively with stakeholders in public sector organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and deliver results under tight timelines.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for business needs.
