Job Description: Sales Team Leader (EdTech Sales)

Location: Noida 16 (On-site)
Experience Required: 2–7 Years (Minimum 1–2 years as a Team Leader)
Industry: Education / EdTech
Team Size: 10–15 Members
Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹55,000 per month (Based on experience)
Incentives: Up to 2X based on performance

Role Overview

The Sales Team Leader will manage, motivate, and guide a team of Admission Counselors to achieve monthly enrollment targets and maintain high-quality student counselling standards. This role requires leadership, data monitoring, and strong sales expertise within the EdTech domain.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership & Management

  • Manage a team of telesales/admission counselors.
  • Conduct daily briefings, performance reviews, and training sessions.
  • Motivate the team to meet monthly revenue and admission targets.
  • Ensure discipline, attendance, and process compliance within the team.

2. Sales & Target Achievement

  • Track team performance on daily calling, follow-ups, and conversions.
  • Drive admissions through data-driven decisions.
  • Maintain a strong conversion ratio from leads to admissions.
  • Handle escalations from students or parents.

3. Process & Operations

  • Monitor CRM entries and ensure 100% data accuracy.
  • Maintain real-time MIS reports for management review.
  • Coordinate with marketing, academic, and operations teams.
  • Implement structured follow-up strategies to improve conversions.

4. Training & Development

  • Train new joiners on counselling, product knowledge, and sales scripts.
  • Conduct refresher sessions to improve communication and sales pitch.
  • Identify low performers and implement improvement plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and people-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and counselling abilities.
  • Experience in EdTech sales / telesales mandatory.
  • Good understanding of admission pipelines and CRM tools.
  • Target-oriented and capable of working in a performance-driven environment.
