Academic Specialist

About the Role

The Academic Specialist – Counselor is responsible for guiding students academically as well as helping them choose the right courses based on their goals. The role combines academic support, counseling, and student lifecycle management—from enrollment to completion. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, subject knowledge, and the ability to guide students with clarity and confidence.

Key Responsibilities1. Academic Counseling & Student Guidance

• Counsel students on course options, eligibility, syllabus structure, and career outcomes.
• Help students choose programs that match their goals and academic background.
• Address academic concerns and guide students on learning techniques, exam preparation, and assignments.

2. Academic Support

• Conduct academic doubt sessions via call/WhatsApp/video if needed.
• Provide clarity on curriculum, study materials, semester patterns, and assessments.
• Track student progress and guide them through academic challenges.

3. Student Relationship Management

• Handle student queries promptly and professionally.
• Maintain follow-up and regular engagement with students for smooth academic journey.
• Guide students throughout their course duration—from enrollment to results.

4. Documentation & Coordination

• Assist students in completing academic-related formalities (forms, assignments, exam registrations).
• Coordinate with faculties, academic teams, and operations for seamless student support.
• Maintain proper records, reports, and updates in CRM or student management systems.

Required Skills

• Strong communication and student-handling skills.
• Good subject understanding and ability to explain academic concepts.
• Problem-solving attitude and empathetic approach.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, CRM, Google Sheets).
• Ability to guide students in a calm, supportive manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (any discipline).
• Experience in academic counseling, teaching, or EdTech is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
