Job Description

1. Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, motivate, and guide the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Train team members on IndiaMART product knowledge, lead handling, and negotiation skills.
  • Monitor daily team activities, performance, and productivity through CRM and dashboards.
  • Conduct daily/weekly meetings to track progress and resolve challenges.
  • Ensure team members follow sales processes, communication etiquette, and reporting formats.

2. IndiaMART Sales Expertise

  • Handle IndiaMART portal operations including lead management, inquiry follow-up, and subscription sales.
  • Guide team on how to convert IndiaMART leads into successful sales closures.
  • Monitor lead quality, response rate, and product/category listing performance.
  • Optimize IndiaMART profile for better visibility and higher lead generation.
  • Handle client escalations related to IndiaMART services, inquiries, or responses.

3. Sales Execution & Client Relations

  • Assist the team in closing key accounts and high-value sales.
  • Understand customer needs, suggest suitable products/services, and deliver customized solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups for inquiries, quotations, and conversions.
  • Visit clients when required for major closures or escalations.

4. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management.
  • Analyze team performance, lead quality, conversion ratio, and revenue trends.
  • Identify gaps and take corrective actions to improve sales numbers.
  • Track competitor activity and suggest strategies to stay ahead.

5. Process Improvement

  • Improve sales scripts, response templates, and follow-up strategies.
  • Ensure all leads are followed within SLA to maximize conversions.
  • Maintain discipline in CRM updates, inquiry responses, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with marketing team to enhance product visibility on IndiaMART.

6. Additional Responsibilities

  • Manage escalations and support team in difficult negotiations.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Assist management in strategizing sales campaigns and offers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
