Key Responsibilities1. GeM (Government e-Marketplace) Sales & Operations Create, update, and manage product/service listings on the GeM portal. Track tenders, bids, and RFQs (Request for Quotation) relevant to the company’s offerings. Prepare and submit bids/tenders on time with complete documentation. Coordinate with internal teams for technical/commercial details required for bidding. Monitor bid status and follow up with buyers for order finalization. Respond promptly to buyer enquiries and follow up for conversion. Filter and qualify leads to focus on genuine buyers. Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with prospective clients. Maintain relationships with existing customers to generate repeat orders. 3. Sales Target Achievement Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets from GeM, IndiaMART, and direct market leads. Prepare and maintain a sales pipeline and forecast. Submit regular sales performance reports to management. 4. Market Research & Business Expansion Identify new product categories and business opportunities on GeM & IndiaMART. Keep track of competitor activities, pricing trends, and buyer preferences. Suggest marketing strategies to improve listing visibility and lead generation. 5. Customer Relationship & After-Sales Support Coordinate with the operations and accounts team for timely order execution and billing. Handle client queries, complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
