Job Title: Team Leader – Sales

Job Summary:

The Team Leader is responsible for supervising and guiding the team to achieve departmental targets, ensure smooth operations, maintain customer satisfaction, and uphold Kia standards. This role focuses on monitoring performance, training team members, and ensuring process adherence to deliver excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:1. Team Management & Leadership

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate the team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
  • Assign tasks and monitor performance of team members.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and share updates from management.
  • Provide coaching and on-the-job training to improve skills and productivity.

2. Operational Responsibilities

  • Ensure all SOPs and OEM (Kia) guidelines are followed.
  • Monitor workflow and ensure timely completion of all tasks (sales/service).
  • Coordinate with other departments (Parts, Bodyshop, CRM, Accounts) for smooth operations.
  • Review daily reports and take corrective actions where required.

3. Customer Service & Experience

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and timely resolution of complaints.
  • Support the team in handling escalations and difficult customer cases.
  • Ensure proper communication and follow-up with customers (sales/service).
  • Maintain and improve CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores.

4. Performance Monitoring

  • Track team performance against KPIs and targets.
  • Prepare daily/weekly MIS reports for management.
  • Identify gaps in performance and implement improvement plans.

5. Process & Quality Compliance

  • Ensure proper documentation, DMS updates, and adherence to Kia standards.
  • Maintain discipline, cleanliness, and professional environment in the showroom/service area.
  • Ensure vehicles, customer documents, and communication are handled properly.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate / Diploma in Automobile or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in the automobile industry (Sales/Service).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-handling skills.
  • Good understanding of Kia processes, service operations, or sales cycle.
  • Proficiency in DMS, Excel, CRM tools.
  • Problem-solving ability and customer-centric attitude.
