Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. GeM (Government e-Marketplace) Sales & Operations

  • Create, update, and manage product/service listings on the GeM portal.
  • Track tenders, bids, and RFQs (Request for Quotation) relevant to the company’s offerings.
  • Prepare and submit bids/tenders on time with complete documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for technical/commercial details required for bidding.
  • Monitor bid status and follow up with buyers for order finalization.
  • Maintain compliance with GeM guidelines and government procurement policies.

2. IndiaMART Lead Generation & Conversion

  • Manage the company’s IndiaMART profile, product listings, and enquiries.
  • Respond promptly to buyer enquiries and follow up for conversion.
  • Filter and qualify leads to focus on genuine buyers.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with prospective clients.
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers to generate repeat orders.

3. Sales Target Achievement

  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets from GeM, IndiaMART, and direct market leads.
  • Prepare and maintain a sales pipeline and forecast.
  • Submit regular sales performance reports to management.

4. Market Research & Business Expansion

  • Identify new product categories and business opportunities on GeM & IndiaMART.
  • Keep track of competitor activities, pricing trends, and buyer preferences.
  • Suggest marketing strategies to improve listing visibility and lead generation.

5. Customer Relationship & After-Sales Support

  • Coordinate with the operations and accounts team for timely order execution and billing.
  • Handle client queries, complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with government and private buyers.

Skills Required:

  • In-depth knowledge of GeM portal operations (tender search, bid submission, compliance).
  • Hands-on experience with IndiaMART seller panel & lead handling.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office & basic documentation.
  • Ability to work under targets and deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
