Sales & Purchase Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and result-driven Sales & Purchase Executive to join our growing team in the yarn/textile industry. This dual-role professional will handle both sales development and procurement activities, ensuring smooth coordination between suppliers and customers, expanding our client base, and optimizing purchases to meet business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Responsibilities:

1. Identify and approach potential customers in the textile industry including mills, exporters, and manufacturers.
2. Develop and maintain strong business relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
3. Promote and sell various types of yarns based on client requirements.
4. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
5. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines in line with company policies.
6. Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
7. Prepare and maintain detailed sales reports and records.

Purchase Responsibilities:

1. Source yarns and related raw materials from reliable suppliers/vendors as per company requirements.
2. Negotiate with vendors to secure competitive pricing, quality assurance, and timely delivery.
3. Maintain inventory levels by planning purchase schedules based on sales forecasts and order pipeline.
4. Track and follow up on purchase orders, ensuring smooth communication between supplier and internal teams.
5. Maintain supplier records, evaluate vendor performance, and identify new sourcing opportunities.
6. Coordinate with the accounts team for timely payments and reconciliation.

Key Requirements:

• Educational Qualification:

  Graduate in any discipline

• Experience:

  24 years in sales or purchase; experience in the

  yarn or textile industry

  will be an added advantage.
• Strong

  communication, negotiation

  , and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
