Positions are open across major cities in India including Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Vadodara, Guwahati and Pune.


Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell Spinco's Bioprocess consumable solutions across assigned territory/accounts in academia, research institutes, and industry.
  • Build strong relationships with scientists, lab managers, and procurement teams by understanding their workflows and process.
  • Conduct technical discussions, demonstrations, and presentations to highlight the value of the consumables.
  • Prospect, forecast, and manage opportunities in the CRM system with accuracy and timeliness of closure.
  • Collaborate with product managers and application specialists to address customer needs.
  • Ensure effective account development by expanding existing customer relationships and identifying new opportunities.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)


  • Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Growth in market share for the proposed products segment.
  • Accuracy of sales forecasts and pipeline management.
  • Number of new accounts acquired and penetration into strategic accounts.
  • Customer satisfaction scores and feedback.
  • Frequency and quality of customer engagement activities (presentations, demos, seminars, etc.).
  • Effective use of CRM tools for lead tracking, follow-ups, and closure.


Qualifications


  • B.Tech / Mtech / MSc in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or allied sciences.
  • Strong technical understanding of consumables used in bioprocessing, protein research, and Cell Culture workflows.
  • Prior experience in scientific sales or customer-facing roles is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an extroverted approach to networking.
  • High self-motivation and ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Implement company's strategic sales plans to achieve commercial goals in consumables.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
