Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining the Global Supply Chain Function to support the establishment of a Business Technology Centre (BTC) in Pune, India and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of planners, facilitating the S&OP process, and ensuring alignment between various internal functions to enhance business efficiency and strategic planning. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and facilitate the monthly S&OP process, ensuring appropriate input, outputs, and discussions occur regularly - Collaborate with Sales & Marketing teams to incorporate promotions and new product forecasts into demand planning - Drive continuous improvement of best-in-class demand planning and S&OP processes - Provide performance reporting and dashboards to leadership for strategic planning cycles - Mentor and develop team members, fostering an inclusive and encouraging work environment - Utilize digital planning tools and ERP systems to analyze complex data and identify trends - Challenge the status quo, offer alternative ideas, and drive problem-solving using data-driven solutions Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field - APICS certification - Minimum of 15 years of experience with 5 years leading the S&OP function in a global business environment - Proficiency in digital planning tools (e.g., Kinaxis Maestro or IBP) and ideally exposure to ERPs (SAP ECC, S4 Hana) - Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills - Ability to lead, empower, and develop teams, resolve conflicts, and foster collaboration - Experience in performance management, setting objectives, and providing feedback - Curious approach to problem-solving and finding solutions using data and analytics Additional Company Details: At bp, we value diversity and inclusivity, fostering an environment where everyone is respected and treated fairly.
