Job Description

We are seeking an individual who can make meaningful contributions beyond their immediate team by partnering with cross-functional groups such as Support and Product Management. The ideal candidate will independently develop dashboards and reporting to deliver actionable insights and drive process enhancements, while leveraging technical expertise to elevate overall team effectiveness. This person will play a key role in strengthening onboarding and mentorship through constructive feedback, providing thought leadership, and conducting advanced discovery to identify competitive opportunities. In addition, they should demonstrate strong leadership capabilities to guide and inspire the team toward achieving shared goals.

A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position.

Technical

  • Should understand industry terms and competitive landscape
  • Previous experience in competitive opportunities with positive outcomes
  • Dedicated to advanced trainings, updates and providing mentorship (SE Summit, Spark, SKO, Other)
  • Should have Industry certifications (Cloud, DB, or adjacent technologies)
  • Can act autonomously in an architectural conversation where Cohesity products are the center.


Business/Sales Acumen

  • Ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Partner and their voice to suggest improvements in a larger sales team whilst executing initiatives
  • Demonstrated adaptability based on previous experience
  • Ability to execute persuasive, technical presentation to convince an audience
  • Ability to territory and account plan as part of a sales team
  • Demonstrated relationships in the regional channel community
  • Other soft skills

    • Adaptable, demonstrating openness to new organization structures, procedures, strategies and ideas and is willing to try new ways of working
    • Good public speaking and able to present succinct messages
    • Demonstrated personal soft development
    • Team player who responds well to requests for assistance, securing additional resources as needed
    • Customer-centric and able to pre-empt some issues before they occur, flagging them to senior leadership
    • May be working towards certification(s)


    Tool Experience & Software

    Google Cloud BigQuery, Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, Teradata Vantage, SAP HANA Cloud, Amazon Redshift, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, SFDC, Smartfiles


    Education & Experience

    Requires 5+ years with a Bachelor’s, 3+ years with a Master’s, or a PhD; equivalent experience accepted.
