Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Officer to join our team and spearhead our business growth initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new client relationships, managing existing accounts, and driving sales across various territories. Responsibilities

  • Actively pursue new business opportunities through outside sales efforts such as cold calling, lead generation, and direct outreach to prospective clients
  • Manage and grow existing client accounts by providing tailored solutions and ongoing support to maximize customer satisfaction and retention
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations to showcase features, benefits, and technical aspects of our offerings
  • Develop and implement strategic territory management plans to optimize coverage and sales potential across assigned regions
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that generate leads and increase brand visibility in key markets
  • Utilize CRM software like Salesforce to track sales activities, monitor pipeline progress, and analyze customer data for insights into buying behaviors
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to close deals effectively while ensuring mutual value
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments to stay ahead in the market
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and upselling relevant products or services when appropriate
  • Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, territory analysis, and customer feedback for management review

Experience

  • Proven experience in outside sales or B2B sales environments with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Strong management skills with the ability to oversee multiple accounts and territories simultaneously
  • Demonstrated success in business development activities such as lead generation, cold calling, and direct sales approaches
  • Familiarity with CRM software platforms like Salesforce or equivalent tools for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines
  • Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-centric approach to foster long-term partnerships
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies that support sales growth and brand positioning
  • Technical sales experience is highly desirable, especially involving product demos or complex solutions requiring detailed explanation
  • Ability to analyze market data to identify opportunities for upselling or expanding into new markets
  • Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to present confidently at all levels of an organization
