Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and driven

Sales Officer

with experience in building materials or related industries. The candidate will be responsible for managing

project sales

,

visiting construction sites

, maintaining strong relationships with

builders, architects, contractors

, and handling the

dealer–distributor network

in the assigned territory.The role requires strong market knowledge, good communication skills, and the ability to generate consistent business through field visits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Sales (Construction Sites / Builders / Contractors)
  • Identify and target ongoing and upcoming construction projects in the region.
  • Build strong relationships with builders, developers, architects, and contractors.
  • Conduct regular site visits to track project progress and ensure product specification & approval.
  • Present product features, benefits, and technical details to project stakeholders.
  • Generate project leads, submit quotations, finalize orders, and follow up on deliveries.
  • Dealer & Distributor Management
  • Develop and manage the existing dealer and distributor network.
  • Ensure product availability and visibility in retail and distribution points.
  • Drive sales through channel partners by conducting product training and market support.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order cycles, and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Plan and execute schemes, promotions, and market activation activities.
  • Market Development & Revenue Growth
  • Achieve monthly sales targets for both project and channel sales.
  • Identify new market opportunities and potential areas for expansion.
  • Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
  • Improve brand presence through field marketing and customer engagement.
  • Reporting & Coordination
  • Maintain daily visit reports, pipeline updates, and sales forecasts.
  • Coordinate closely with the internal teams (logistics, accounts, operations) for order processing.
  • Ensure timely payment collection and adherence to company credit policies.

Required Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in building materials, construction products, project sales, or channel sales.
  • Established network with builders, architects, contractors, and channel partners in the assigned territory.
  • Ability to conduct independent market and site visits on a daily basis.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, field-oriented, and consistently target-driven.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid two-wheeler license.
