Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Hyderabad for a Sales Manager. The Sales Manager will drive revenue growth by identifying new sales opportunities, building and nurturing strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The role includes researching potential markets, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction, and keeping abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement 
  • Understand the target markets, including industry, company, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients 
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction 
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients 
  • Collaborate with Product and IT teams to ensure that requirements are met 
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations 
  • Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the area you have been assigned 
  • Monitor sales progress to ensure that corporate goals are being met  
  • Track all business-related invoices 
  • Possess a strong understanding of company products, competition in the industry and positioning 
  • Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on corporate competitors 


Requirements:

  • Closing skills, Motivation for sales, Prospecting skills, sales planning, Selling to customer’s needs, Territory management, Meeting sales goals and Professionalism 
  • Market knowledge (Agro-Chemical/Agri Inputs/Commodities Business)  
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software 
  • 4 -5 years of sales experience 
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills  
  • Enthusiasm for the company and its growth potential 


Qualification:

  • BBA/MBA in Sales & Marketing or a BSc (Agriculture) with MBA in Agri Business or Sales & Marketing
