Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Field Sales Representative to drive business growth in the extrusion industry. This role involves developing new accounts, managing existing client relationships, and promoting custom or standard extrusion products (plastic, aluminum, or rubber). The ideal candidate has strong technical sales acumen and a solid understanding of extrusion manufacturing processes and applications. Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory. Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, distributors, and end users. Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate extrusion solutions. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, product demos, and technical proposals. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address customer needs and ensure feasibility. Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules in alignment with company policies. Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales forecasts and reports. Attend industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to generate leads. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (preferred). 1+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the extrusion or manufacturing industry. Technical knowledge of plastic, aluminum, or rubber extrusion products and processes. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-driven with excellent time management and territory planning skills. Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively. Preferred Experience: Experience selling into industries such as automotive, construction, packaging, or industrial components. Familiarity with custom extrusion profiles and their design/application. Compensation and Benefits: Base salary + commission/bonus structure.
