Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales & Marketing professional to drive business development for our apparel jobwork facility. The role involves identifying new clients (brands, retailers, exporters, wholesalers), maintaining strong relationships, and promoting our manufacturing/jobwork services to maximize capacity utilization and revenue growth.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Sales Development

- Identify and acquire new clients for apparel jobwork (stitching, finishing, washing, embroidery, etc.).

- Generate leads through networking, trade fairs, industry platforms, and referrals.

- Build and manage a sales pipeline to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and service agreements.

- Negotiate rates, timelines, and terms with clients to close deals.

 

Marketing Activities

- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote jobwork services.

- Collaborate with digital marketing team to increase visibility on online platforms.

- Represent the company in exhibitions, buyer–seller meets, and industry events.

 

Client Relationship Management

- Serve as a point of contact for clients from onboarding to delivery.

- Understand customer requirements (design, quality, lead time) and coordinate with production teams.

- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

- Handle client feedback and resolve issues promptly.

 

Market Intelligence & Reporting

- Track competitors’ activities, market demand, and pricing trends in apparel jobwork.

- Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports for management.

- Share insights with production and management teams for capacity planning.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Textile/Apparel background preferred).

- 2–5 years of experience in sales/marketing, preferably in apparel/textile industry.

- Strong network with brands, exporters, or wholesalers is an advantage.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office and social media marketing.

- Ability to work independently and meet targets.
