Description
*Sales Manager*
UMA RUBBER AND PLASTIC PRODUCT is a rubber product manufacturing company incorporated in 1991.
We are looking for a results-driven Sales Manager to lead our B2B sales function. The candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and supervising sales strategies, managing the sales team, and driving revenue growth across territories and market segments.
*RESPONSIBILITIES*
-Lead, guide, and motivate the sales team including Sales Engineers and Inside Sales Executives.
-Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve organizational targets.
-Identify and explore new business opportunities, industry segments, and OEM clients.
-Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, decision-makers, and channel partners.
-Monitor territory coverage, lead conversions, and ensure consistent sales pipeline.
-Collaborate with the marketing, technical, and production teams to ensure customer satisfaction and solution alignment.
-Set clear KPIs and performance benchmarks for team members and monitor their progress.
-Conduct regular training and performance reviews to strengthen team capability.
-Track competitor activity, pricing, and industry trends to inform sales decisions.
-Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to represent the company.
-Oversee quotation processes, commercial negotiations, and customer onboarding.
*CANDIDATE PROFILE*
*Minimum Requirement:*
-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Rubber Technology, BBA/MBA in Marketing, or equivalent industrial background.
-Proven track record (4–8 years) in B2B industrial sales, including team management.
-Strong leadership, planning, and delegation skills.
-Knowledge of rubber, plastic, polymer, or engineering product markets is preferred.
-Deep understanding of OEM customer expectations and industrial buying cycles.
-Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
-Proficiency in CRM, MS Office, and sales reporting tools.
-Willingness to travel (up to 25–30% of the time).
-Fluency in English and Hindi; regional language proficiency is a plus.

*Selection Criteria for Sales Manager*
-Salary: ₹45,000 – ₹80,000 per month + Team Incentives
(Negotiable for candidates with outstanding credentials and relevant experience)
*Education (Minimum Requirement):*
-BE/Diploma in Mechanical/Rubber Technology OR
-BBA/MBA in Marketing or Industrial Management
*Work Experience:*
-4–8 years in B2B industrial sales, with at least 2+ years in a sales leadership/managerial role
-Hands-on experience in OEM sales, team supervision, and sales operations
*Skills & Competencies:*
-Sales team handling, performance tracking, and training
-Strategic thinking and execution of sales plans
-Customer account management and retention
-Lead generation, funnel building, and territory expansion
-CRM usage and data-driven decision-making
-Strong market knowledge and business acumen
*Additional Preferences:*
-Exposure to rubber/plastic/polymer product sales
-Experience dealing with OEM clients in sectors like Automotive, Construction, and Industrial Machinery
-Familiarity with trade fairs, business networking, and corporate presentations
