Job Description – Sales Manager (Architecture & Corporate Meetings)Position: Sales Manager Department: Sales & Business Development Reporting To: Head – Sales / General Manager 1. Job SummaryThe Sales Manager is responsible for generating business from architectural clients, corporate clients, and project-based sales. The role involves meeting architects, understanding project requirements, building strong relationships, and achieving monthly sales targets. 2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Sales & Business DevelopmentIdentify and approach new architects, interior designers, and project consultants. Generate leads and convert them into sales opportunities. Conduct regular client visits, meetings, and presentations. Maintain strong relationships with existing architectural and corporate clients. Prepare and send quotations, proposals, and product presentations. B. Client Meetings & CoordinationSchedule and attend meetings with architects for product approvals. Understand client requirements and provide suitable solutions. Coordinate with internal teams (design, technical, operations) to ensure smooth project execution. Maintain a meeting tracker and weekly visit report. C. Sales Target AchievementAchieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. Monitor competitor activities and market trends. Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and share with management. D. Documentation & ReportingMaintain updated client database (architects, contractors, builders). Follow up on quotations, payments, and order closures. Ensure timely submission of project reports, visit reports, and MIS. 3. Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong communication and presentation skills. Good negotiation and closing skills. Ability to build long-term professional relationships. Basic architectural understanding (preferred). Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint). Self-motivated and target-oriented. 4. Qualification & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred). 2–5 years of experience in sales (Architectural/Building Material/Corporate Sales preferred).
