Role summary

Owner for Fluorspar revenue — full lifecycle sales: lead generation, technical presales, customer onboarding, extensive travelling, export sales & logistics coordination. Target customers: abrasives, aluminum smelters, chemical processors, trading houses and export buyers.


Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a PAN-India + export sales plan for fluorspar (lumps / concentrates / processed grades).
  • Identify, qualify and convert buyers in aluminum, abrasive, chemical & trading sectors; manage distributor relationships for Middle East markets.
  • Negotiate commercial terms (pricing, INCOTERMS, credit, logistics) and close long-term supply agreements.
  • Coordinate with procurement, QC, logistics, and export teams for order fulfilment and on-time shipments.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records; prepare weekly sales forecasts and monthly P&L contribution reports.
  • Monitor competitor pricing, import/export trends, and raw material availability; advise management.
  • Meet/exceed sales & margin targets; travel to customer locations


Must-have

  • Proven track record selling fluorspar or closely related minerals (cryolite, fluorspar concentrates) domestically and ideally to ME.
  • Strong network in abrasive, aluminum and chemical sectors.
  • Technical understanding of product grades, impurities, moisture control and testing.
  • Negotiation skills, logistics/export experience, and proficiency with CRM & MS Excel.
  • Graduation in Science / Chemistry / Metallurgy / Mechanical / Commerce.


KPIs

  • Monthly/quarterly revenue and margin achievement.
  • New customer conversions per quarter.
  • On-time shipments (%) and customer NPS/retention.
  • Gross margin per ton vs budget.
