Officer / Executive – Statutory Compliance & Government Liaison 

 

 Location: 

 

Jamshedpur, Jharkhand

We are an established manufacturing organization engaged in refractory and foundry materials. To ensure smooth operations and full statutory adherence, we are looking for a dedicated professional to manage all government-related compliances and renewals for our plant and offices. 

 

 Key Responsibilities: 

 

Handle all statutory and regulatory compliances related to: 

 

PF (Provident Fund) 

 

ESIC (Employees’ State Insurance) 

 

Factory License and Inspectorate of Factories 

 

Labour Department (Contract Labour, Minimum Wages, etc.) 

 

Pollution Control Board (Consent to Operate, Hazardous Waste, etc.) 

 

Other local authorities and industrial approvals. 

 

Maintain a proper calendar of renewals and ensure timely submission of applications, returns, and reports. 

 

Liaise and coordinate with government departments and officers for inspections, renewals, and compliance-related discussions. 

 

Ensure that all statutory registers, records, and documents are updated and available for audit or inspection. 

 

Work closely with HR and Accounts departments to ensure correct deductions and filings for PF, ESIC, and labour compliances. 

 

Keep management informed of any changes in labour laws, factory rules, or pollution regulations that may affect operations. 

 

Represent the company professionally before government offices and handle correspondence related to compliance. 

 

 Required Skills & Competencies: 

 

Good understanding of factory laws, labour laws, and statutory compliance requirements. 

 

Excellent communication and liaisoning skills for dealing with government officers. 

 

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain accurate records and deadlines. 

 

Proficient in using basic computer tools (MS Excel, Word, Email). 

 

Ability to work independently and manage multiple compliance tasks simultaneously. 

 

 Qualification & Experience: 

 

Graduate in Commerce / Law / Management / Industrial Relations or equivalent. 

 

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in statutory compliance and government liaison for an industrial organization. 

 

Candidates having prior exposure to PF, ESIC, Factory License, Pollution Control, and Labour Department work will be preferred. 

 

 Salary: 

 

₹20,000 – ₹40,000 per month (based on experience and capability).
