Company : JSW Gecko Motors Pvt Ltd Group Company : JSW Defence Location : Chandigarh Joining : Immediate Job Summary: The Sales Manager will be responsible for generating sales and revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new customers and promoting the company's products in Central Armed Police Forces This role involves developing strategic sales plans, identifying and pursuing new customers & new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with CAPF sector clients, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets and objectives. The Sales Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product alignment with market needs and compliance with industry regulations. He/She will directly report to the Head of Sales and Marketing. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans specifically tailored to the CAPF Mobility segment. Identify and target new business opportunities within the CAPF sector. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients in the CAPF sector Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Address and resolve client complaints and issues in a timely and effective manner. Sales Operations and Execution: Oversee day-to-day sales operations for CAPF segment, including lead generation, sales presentations, negotiations, and closing deals. Monitor and analyze sales metrics and performance data to identify areas for improvement and track progress against targets. Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, forecasts, and performance to senior management. Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence: Conduct market research and stay informed about trends, competitors, and conditions within the CAPF sector. Use insights to devise sales strategies and identify opportunities for differentiation and growth. Collaborate with the product development team to ensure products meet market needs and support sales objectives. Regulatory Compliance and Contract Management: Ensure all sales activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements specific to the CAPF sector. Manage the preparation and submission of bids and proposals for CAPF contracts, ensuring compliance with all specifications and requirements. Negotiate contract terms and conditions, ensuring favorable outcomes for the company. Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage the sales budget for the CAPF segment, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve sales targets. Monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability. Prepare and present sales forecasts and financial reports to senior management. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including government officials, procurement officers, and industry partners, to advocate for the companys products and capabilities. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Automobile/ Mechanical preferable with Master of Business Administration in Marketing/ Sales or a related field. Proven experience sales leadership role within the CAPF sector. Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and best practices, particularly in the context of CAPF sales. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions. Proficiency in using CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Results-driven with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events. Experience in the CAPF segment, with knowledge of paramilitary vehicle procurement process is a MUST Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with government procurement processes and contract management.
