Job Description

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the solar energy sector, focusing on Solar PV projects (Ground-Mounted and Rooftop). · Assist in developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth, aligned with company goals and market trends. · Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, stakeholders, and industry players to secure new partnerships and projects. · Prepare competitive techno-commercial offers in collaboration with senior team members to ensure alignment with client requirements. · Conduct market research to stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and competitors in the renewable energy space. · Monitor market conditions to identify opportunities for business development and collect details of upcoming solar projects. · Assist in managing client accounts and ensuring customer satisfaction through regular communication and relationship building. · Support project management teams to ensure smooth execution of solar projects and timely delivery. · Participate in project reviews and provide feedback to enhance client satisfaction and address issues. · Assist in overseeing the financial performance of projects and support financial analysis to optimize profitability. Role Demands (Travel) As and when required. Qualification · Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Experience, Certification, Exposure · 2-5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the renewable energy or construction sector. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. · Proficiency in market research and analysis, with an understanding of solar energy technologies. Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities 1. Client Interaction: • Visit potential and existing clients to discuss project requirements and establish strong relationships. • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions. 2. Site Visits and Data Collection: • Conduct site visits to assess feasibility and gather necessary data. • Prepare basic layouts and proposals based on site evaluations. 3. Proposal and Tender Management: •Prepare and submit technical and financial proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements. • Manage tender submissions, ensuring accurate and timely documentation. 4. Business Development: • Identify new opportunities and market trends in the solar EPC sector. • Work with cross-functional teams to convert leads into successful projects. • Experience: 3 to 6 years in business development roles, preferably in the solar or construction industry. • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
