Job Description

Role Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Sales professional (2 3 year s experience ) who understands the world of D2C / e-commerce / PTL express and can help us onboard and grow accounts in these segments.

If you enjoy talking to founders, e-com / SCM heads, understanding their pain around logistics, and converting that into win win solutions, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

1. New Business Development

  • Identify and prospect D2C brands, FMCG / F&B brands, and e-commerce-first companies that fit Yolojet s ICP.
  • Run structured outreach via LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp & calls to get first meetings.
  • Pitch Yolojet s capabilities (PTL, appointment deliveries, quick commerce, modern trade) with clear problem solution framing .
  • Build a qualified pipeline and move opportunities through the funnel from first conversation to pilot to closure.

2. Solutioning & Proposals

  • Understand client requirements: shipment profile, lanes, platforms, SLAs, pain points (missed appointments, penalties, damages, follow-up chaos, etc.).
  • Work with operations & pricing teams to design lanes, commercials, and pilots .
  • Prepare and present commercial proposals, case studies, and basic ROI logic to prospects.

3. Account Onboarding & Handover

  • Support the onboarding of new accounts: documentation, lane sign-off, rate card confirmation, basic SOPs.
  • Ensure a smooth handover to Key Account Management / Operations while staying involved till the account stabilises.

4. Market Intelligence & Feedback

  • Track what other 3PLs / transporters are offering D2C & FMCG brands in terms of pricing, service and tech .
  • Feed back customer insights to internal teams (ops, product, leadership) to help refine offerings and pitches.

5. Reporting & Process Discipline

  • Maintain clean CRM / pipeline hygiene calls, meetings, stages, probability, expected revenue.
  • Share weekly updates on pipeline, closures, and learnings with the leadership team.

Must-Have Requirements

  • 2-3 years of B2B sales / business development experience , ideally in:
    • D2C enablement / logistics / 3PL / PTL / express shipping or
    • E-commerce SaaS / fulfilment / warehousing / supply chain roles.
    • Strong comfort in speaking to founders, SCM heads, e-com / quick commerce teams .
    • Ability to understand lanes, volumes, TATs, and basic logistics/commercial metrics (per kg, per shipment, per lane).
    • Track record of owning a sales target and closing deals.
    • Good communication skills (spoken & written English; Hindi a plus).
    • High ownership mindset: you re comfortable running outreach, follow-ups and internal coordination without constant supervision.
    • Nice-to-Have

    • Experience selling to brands in F&B, packaged foods, spices, personal care, nutraceuticals, or similar categories .
    • Prior exposure to quick commerce / modern trade / marketplace operations .
    • Basic familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive, etc.) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
