Job Description

Job Summary:

The AIF Sales professional will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing relationships with High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs), Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNIs), Family Offices, and Institutional Clients to distribute Alternative Investment Fund products. The role demands a strong understanding of capital markets, alternative investment structures, and wealth management dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Distribution of AIF schemes to HNI, UHNI, and institutional investors.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with wealth managers, investment advisors, private bankers, and distribution partners.
  • Achieve sales and fundraising targets as per business objectives.
  • Educate clients and partners about fund strategy, structure, risk-return profile, and performance updates.
  • Collaborate with product, research, and operations teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and post-sales service.
  • Conduct investor meetings, webinars, and presentations to enhance product visibility and client engagement.
  • Track market trends, competitor products, and investor sentiment to provide business insights and feedback to management.
  • Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations and internal policies throughout the sales process.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of AIF products, private equity, venture capital, PMS, and structured products.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand complex investment strategies and articulate them clearly to clients.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Proactive, target-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Educational Qualification & Experience

  • Master’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  •  CFA / CA / CFP will be an added advantage.
  • Desired candidate should have an experience of 3+ years of experience in sales role within the financial services industry in wealth management or AIF sales with a focus on PMS and AIF distribution.
  • NISM certifications as per SEBI requirements (mandatory).
  • Prior experience in fundraising from HNI/UHNI clients or working with a wealth platform is highly desirable.
