Job Description:
Responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products or services. Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts. Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.
Job Requirements:
Purpose:
The person will be responsible for the development and management of the Dexis business activities and India sales team within India and South Asia.
Achieve the agreed targets in top line growth through familiarity with both dental market and customers, customer satisfaction through sales planning and account management, and ensure the delegated team satisfaction through performance and career management.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
  • To formulate and implement the Dexis objectives and strategies, to ensuring effective and efficient operations
  • Plan and execute sales strategies, promotional activities, and other initiatives designed to increase the level of awareness and sales of Dexis solutions in the assigned geography
  • To establish effective relationship with all stakeholders, government bodies, business partners, customers
  • Identification of market opportunities, trends and conduit for innovative ideas. Review current trade information sources and target potential local associations to build a scientific relationship.
  • Proposing enhancements of risk management measures on a fit-for-purpose and economically justified basis.
  • Strong analytical skills that enable sound judgment while understanding long-term impacts of the decisions and choices.
  • Customer and partner relationship management: Monitor relationships and ensure that any issues of concern are properly handled in a compliant and diplomatic manner.
  • Provide accurate and timely feedback on market conditions including pricing, competitor activity and marketing initiatives.
  • Agenda simulator to present monthly sales and marketing activity reports for the region, and accurate planning and forecasting of sales performance.
  • To recruit, develop and manage the sales team within the assigned geography
  • Undertakes daily management and development of sales team members, including regular co-traveling
  • Undertakes regular and ongoing review of sales budgets for each Sales team member
  • Drive increased effectiveness and efficiency through value selling and Voice of Customer
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships through regular participation in events, travel to
  • customers, sales ride-along, educational events etc.
  • Develop sales with active commitment to customer focus
  • Assess and manage sales funnel to drive forecast and planning accuracy
Most Important Qualifications and Competencies:
  • 12 - 15 years of Business Development experience, including at least 8 years people management
  • experience, preferably in the industry of Healthcare Technology, Medial Devices or Diagnostic Industry
  • Bachelor s degree in business or economics required; Master s Degree preferred
  • Strong financial background required: Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations
  • Ability to build a Team and Manage by example do what it takes
  • Driving improved sales efficiency through the rigorous use of sales management tools
  • Strong ability in strategic and analytic thinking
  • Results orientation - must deliver results
  • Superior communications skills combined with a high customer and service orientation
  • Superior consulting/influencing skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management
  • Strong relationship building and management skills
  • Experience in working in an international environment
  • Strong knowledge of the market geography is a must
  • Languages: Local language and English required
