Sales Executive

Position Title: Sales Executive

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reports To: Sales Manager

Job Summary

The Sales Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, meeting sales targets, and building strong customer relationships. The role requires excellent communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a customer-focused approach to drive company growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

Identify potential clients through cold calling, field visits, networking, and online research.

Maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.

Schedule meetings and product presentations.

2. Sales & Business Development

Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products/services.

Prepare and deliver sales pitches, proposals, and quotations.

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Negotiate pricing and finalize deals.

3. Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.

Provide post-sales support and handle customer queries.

Ensure a positive customer experience to encourage repeat business.

4. Market Research & Reporting

Study competitor activities, pricing trends, and market conditions.

Share insights with the sales team for strategy development.

Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and update CRM tools.

5. Coordination & Team Support

Coordinate with marketing, customer support, logistics, and finance teams for smooth order processing.

Participate in promotional events, trade shows, and product launches.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

1-2 years of experience in sales (industry-specific experience is a plus).

Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Ability to meet targets and work under pressure.

Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.

Willingness to travel (if required).

Preferred Skills

Experience in B2B or B2C sales.

Ability to understand customer behavior and market trends.

Strong problem-solving and follow-up abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
