Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven

Sales Engineer

to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for industrial sales. This role involves promoting and selling

instrumentation fittings, valves, and related products

to customers in the

oil & gas, chemical, power, and industrial sectors

. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development:
Promote and sell

instrumentation fittings and valves

to clients in oil & gas, chemical, power, and other industrial sectors.Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the company’s market presence.Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.Conduct regular follow-ups with prospects to convert opportunities into sales.Present and demonstrate product features, benefits, and applications to customers.
  • Lead Generation & Market Research:
Identify key clients and decision-makers within target industries.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.Generate and maintain a pipeline of potential customers through networking, cold calling, and field visits.
  • Sales Target Achievement:
Work towards achieving assigned

monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

.Plan and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue growth within the assigned region.Track and report sales performance, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
Act as a key point of contact for customers, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and technical requirements.
Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, including handling quotations, negotiations, and order follow-ups.Collaborate with internal teams (such as operations and technical support) to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Travel & On-Site Visits:
Conduct regular visits to customer sites and industrial plants to understand their requirements.Travel within the assigned territory to meet potential clients and explore new sales opportunities.

Education

Qualifications & Skills:

BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering

(or equivalent).

Experience

1-3 years of experience in

industrial sales, business development, or technical sales

(Freshers with strong sales aptitude may also apply).Prior experience in selling

instrumentation products, valves, or fittings

will be an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies

Strong

technical knowledge

of industrial products (especially valves, fittings, and instrumentation equipment).Excellent

communication and negotiation skills

.Ability to build and maintain

long-term customer relationships

.Proficiency in

Microsoft Office

(Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.

Additional Requirements

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Two-wheeler with a valid driving license

(mandatory).Willingness to

travel extensively

within the assigned region.
