Job Summary:

Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, pursue, and convert qualified B2B sales leads into successful orders.
  • Conduct daily customer visits to OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and industrial manufacturers.
  • Engage in consultative selling by understanding customer needs and offering tailored automation or capital equipment solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships with decision-makers and technical teams.
  • Handle complete sales cycle including lead generation, proposal presentation, technical discussions, negotiation, and closure.
  • Collaborate with the application engineering team to offer value-based solutions.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and generate timely sales reports.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Represent Patvin at industry events, exhibitions, and technical seminars.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education:

    Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Experience:

    4–10 years of B2B sales experience in:
  • Capital goods / Industrial equipment / Automation systems.
  • Selling to Automotive OEMs, Auto Component Manufacturers, or Industrial Manufacturing sectors.
  • Industry Exposure:

    Experience with SPMs, robotic systems, power tools, control systems, or similar industrial products is highly preferred.
  • Technical Aptitude:

    Application engineering knowledge is a strong plus.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Based in Ahmedabad and fluent in Gujrati and English
  • Willing to travel extensively across West India based out of Ahmedabad
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-driven, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), MS Office, and digital communication tools.
