Position Summary:

Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base in the home automation market.
• Present and demonstrate home automation products, solutions, and technologies to potential clients, showcasing their value and benefits.
• Provide technical support during the sales process, answering client inquiries, addressing technical concerns, and preparing proposals and quotes.
• Work closely with the engineering and product teams to stay up-to-date with product features and ensure client requirements are met.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, contractors, interior designers, and distributors, to generate new business opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
• Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote company offerings and stay informed about market trends.
• Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer insights and market demand.
• Should work remotely on-site and report to Kannur Zonal Office

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma or ITI in Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, or related field (preferred).
• 1-3 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the home automation or technology sector.
• Strong technical understanding of home automation systems, including smart lighting, security systems, HVAC, and energy management solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence customers at all levels.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and closing deals.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
• A passion for technology and a keen interest in the home automation industry.
