Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and technically adept Sales Engineer to drive sales and business development efforts in the home automation sector. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with excellent sales skills to present, promote, and sell our products and solutions to potential customers. The role requires a deep understanding of the home automation industry and the ability to translate technical features into clear benefits for customers. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base in the home automation market. Present and demonstrate home automation products, solutions, and technologies to potential clients, showcasing their value and benefits. Provide technical support during the sales process, answering client inquiries, addressing technical concerns, and preparing proposals and quotes. Work closely with the engineering and product teams to stay up-to-date with product features and ensure client requirements are met. Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, contractors, interior designers, and distributors, to generate new business opportunities. Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle. Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote company offerings and stay informed about market trends. Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer insights and market demand. Should work remotely on-site and report to Kannur Zonal Office Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, or related field (preferred). 1-3 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the home automation or technology sector. Strong technical understanding of home automation systems, including smart lighting, security systems, HVAC, and energy management solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence customers at all levels. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and closing deals. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools. A passion for technology and a keen interest in the home automation industry.
