Job Description

The Sales Coordinator supports the sales team by managing day-to-day coordination, order processing, customer communication, and internal follow-ups. The role ensures smooth execution of sales operations, timely dispatches, accurate documentation, and effective coordination between sales, production, dispatch, accounts, and logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Sales Support & Coordination

  • Assist the sales team with quotations, proposals, price lists, and product information.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (production, planning, dispatch, QA, accounts) to ensure timely order execution.
  • Maintain and update sales trackers, order status, and customer databases.
  • Support sales planning, follow-ups, and lead tracking.

Order Management

  • Prepare and process sales orders in ERP/CRM systems.
  • Ensure accuracy of order details including pricing, quantity, delivery schedule, and payment terms.
  • Track order progress and proactively update customers and sales managers.
  • Coordinate dispatch schedules and ensure timely delivery.

Customer Communication

  • Act as a point of contact for customers regarding order status, documentation, and basic queries.
  • Handle routine customer follow-ups and ensure high service standards.
  • Coordinate resolution of customer issues related to orders, deliveries, and documentation.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare sales-related documents such as quotations, proforma invoices, delivery challans, and order confirmations.
  • Maintain proper records of contracts, price approvals, and customer correspondence.
  • Generate periodic sales reports (daily/weekly/monthly) for management review.

CRM & Data Management

  • Update CRM with customer interactions, orders, and follow-up notes.
  • Support CRM training and ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in preparing MIS reports and dashboards.

Coordination & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing approvals, and sales processes.
  • Coordinate with accounts for invoicing, credit limits, and payment follow-ups.
  • Support audits and internal reviews related to sales documentation.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in a sales coordination / sales support role (manufacturing or B2B preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,709.48 - ₹30,733.62 per month
