Job Summary:

Sales & Marketing Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in industrial automation and control systems.
• Conduct market research and build a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to explain products and services to prospective clients.
• Understand customer requirements and propose tailored automation solutions (PLC, SCADA, DCS, VFD, MCC).
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, cost estimates, and BOQs.
• Negotiate terms and close orders in line with company targets.
• Maintain customer relationships and ensure post-sales satisfaction.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and execution teams for project handover and technical clarifications.
• Maintain CRM systems and provide regular sales forecasts and reports.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent).
• 3–7 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in industrial automation or electrical systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of automation systems such as PLCs (Siemens preferred), SCADA, HMIs, VFDs.
• Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to understand client requirements and articulate value-driven solutions.
• Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and documentation.
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.

Preferred:

• Prior experience in selling automation/control panels or working in a systems integrator company.
• Familiarity with industries like steel, pharma, F&B, chemicals, or OEMs.
• Basic understanding of project execution lifecycle.

Compensation:

• Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000/month (based on experience)
