Job Title: Safety Officer / Safety Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join our team and ensure the highest standards of workplace safety across all project activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management, relevant certifications, and practical experience in implementing safety protocols and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) to identify potential risks and hazards before starting work.

Manage and oversee total safety compliance during task assignments, ensuring all safety measures are strictly followed.

Provide clear and concise task safety instructions to all workers and subcontractors.

Implement and maintain Permit to Work systems, including accident investigations (AIDS), method statements, and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA).

Collaborate closely with project teams to monitor, report, and improve safety performance on site.

Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA, NEBOSH, and other relevant safety standards.

Deliver safety training and awareness programs to employees and subcontractors.

Maintain detailed records of safety incidents, corrective actions, and safety meetings.

Qualifications:

Any Degree

Safety Diploma, OSHA Certification, and NEBOSH Certification required

Advanced Development Industry Safety training preferred

Skills & Experience:

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in safety management systems

Proficient in preparing and reviewing method statements and permits

Excellent communication and leadership skills for enforcing safety policies

Familiar with safety documentation, reporting, and regulatory compliance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
