Key Responsibilities: Analyze architectural and structural drawings, project specifications, and municipal regulations. Prepare preliminary and detailed cost estimates for residential and commercial real estate projects. Generate and validate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and material take-offs. Conduct rate analysis for civil, finishing, and MEP works based on current market rates. Liaise with procurement to collect vendor/supplier quotations for costing inputs. Prepare and evaluate cost comparison sheets, cost-benefit analyses, and value engineering proposals. Track and update construction cost databases with recent rates and inflation-adjusted pricing.
