Safety Officer

You will be working as a Safety Officer at Manastu Space, a Space Safety and Logistics Company dedicated to saving the Trillion $ Space industry from Debris Pollution in Space. By utilizing technology, the company aims to develop an Agile, Safe, Efficient, and Affordable Green Propulsion System to prevent satellite collisions and Debris Pollution in space. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct routine safety assessments and inspections to identify safety, health, and environmental risks. - Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs. - Perform HAZOP analysis to assess and mitigate potential risks in operations. - Investigate accidents and incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. - Provide safety training and education to employees. - Monitor and enforce adherence to safety regulations and compliance standards. - Collaborate with other departments to mitigate safety risks. - Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for continuous safety monitoring. - Create inspection schedules, generate reports, and ensure timely follow-ups. - Develop and implement Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor's or master's degree in safety engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or a related field. - Strong project management experience in implementing compliance initiatives. - 2-5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing. - In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. - Ability to lead, motivate, and influence others. - Proficiency in safety management software. Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in Safety Engineering or a related field. - Certification as an Occupational Safety and Health Specialist (OHS) or equivalent. - Experience in conducting safety audits and inspections. - Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies.,
