Sourcing vendors required for said items at best quality and best rates New vendor onboarding based on company policies Vendor ManagementManaging vendors efficiently and ensuring vendor work allocation, engagement, discipline and happiness including proper payment certification Vendor meetings- existing and new- to resolve issues or give clarity and comfort on company working style and specific work scope Order Management Ensuring orders are raised efficiently from site and tracking the same upto completion. Checking if team has closed orders, formed groups for follow up, formed vendor groups and added relevant staff and followed up on delivery. Planning and Ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet project timelines. Support to Site Team workflow Ensuring smooth flow of work at site related to procurement. Site visits/ AGM Projects/Site head inputs based on work issues Record Keeping Ensuring client approvals and record keeping Internal team meetings and reviews General Responsibilities Should be goal oriented and task oriented, completing the work in a timely manner Building and Leading a strong procurement department Should be efficient and takes accountability for work completion. Ensuring Preparedness for internal and client meetings. Preferred candidate profile 20 + years of procurement experience in the construction field Added advantage to have interior finishing experience like tiling, flooring, painting and marble works and project management Experience with reputed builders specializing in high-end flats or independent houses.
