Safety Manager

As a Safety Manager for a Data Center project at JCI, your role will be crucial in overseeing safety procedures and ensuring compliance with regulations to create a safe working environment for all employees. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing, implementing, and enforcing safety policies and procedures in alignment with local, state, and federal regulations. - Conducting regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance. - Providing safety training and resources for employees to promote a culture of safety. - Investigating accidents and incidents, preparing reports, and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. - Collaborating with project managers and site supervisors to promote safety on-site. - Maintaining accurate records of safety-related activities and incidents. - Leading continuous improvement initiatives by building and maintaining the health & safety infrastructure, developing best practices, and adhering to JCI safety standards. - Managing and optimizing the safety operations of multi-site facilities and ensuring compliance with applicable safety regulations. - Planning, implementing, and managing safety/environmental policies and procedures in compliance with JCI safety standards, local, and Occupational Safety and Health rules and regulations. - Developing and delivering training programs for managers and employees, reviewing risk assessments, conducting safety audits, and implementing good safety practices. Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Safety Manager or in a similar role. - In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management systems. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and leadership abilities. - Certifications such as CSP or CIH are preferred. - Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field is preferred.
