Safety Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with industrial construction safety standards, statutory regulations, and client HSE requirements.
  
• Prepare and implement Project HSE Plan, HIRA, JSA, and Permit-to-Work systems for high-risk activities (working at height, heavy lifting, hot work, confined space, etc.).
  
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and monitor critical operations like structural erection, equipment installation, and heavy machinery movement.
  
• Deliver safety induction, toolbox talks, and competency training for workers and equipment operators.
  
• Investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions.
  
• Manage PPE, safety signage, barricading, and inspection of scaffolds, lifting tools, and electrical installations.
  
• Maintain HSE documentation and submit daily/weekly/monthly reports to management and client.
  
• Coordinate emergency preparedness, fire safety, and mock drills within the industrial project site.
  
• Promote a strong safety culture and enforce safe work practices across all subcontractors

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification:

  Must hold

  ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety)

  from a recognized institute.

• Experience:

  5 to 10 years of industrial construction experience

  in safety management/HSE roles.
