Job Title: Safety Consultant

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, organize, and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for employees and contractors, tailored to different departments and roles.
• Conduct training sessions on safety policies, procedures, hazard identification, emergency response, and regulatory compliance.
• Assess training needs by analyzing incident reports, audit findings, and workplace risk factors.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and on-site observations; implement improvements as needed.
• Collaborate with management to integrate safety training into overall organizational development plans.
• Support the implementation of safety policies and ensure all personnel understand and follow them.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, providing feedback and recommendations to reduce workplace hazards.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, incorporating lessons learned into training content.
• Maintain training records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on latest safety regulations, standards, and best practices, incorporating them into training modules.
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP), NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in safety consultancy or occupational safety role, with a strong focus on training and development.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering effective safety training programs.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements in India.
• Ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of employees.
