Chief Security Officer (client-site)

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Industry: Bottling Plant (Manufacturing)

CTC: ₹32 Lakhs per annum

Preferred Candidate: Ex-Serviceman (Captain/Major)

We are seeking an experienced and highly disciplined Chief Security Officer (CSO) to oversee and enhance the security framework of our bottling plant in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be an Ex-Serviceman (Captain/Major) with a strong background in security management, risk assessment, and crisis response. The CSO will ensure the safety of personnel, assets, and operations while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Security Strategy & Operations

• Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Oversee physical security, access control, surveillance systems, and cybersecurity measures.
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.

Team Leadership & Training

• Lead and mentor the security team, ensuring high standards of vigilance and professionalism.
• Conduct security drills, emergency response training, and awareness programs.

Crisis & Incident Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for security-related emergencies.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire services, and disaster management authorities.
• Investigate security breaches and recommend corrective actions.

Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure adherence to statutory security norms (e.g., IS standards, Factory Act, OSHA).
• Liaise with government agencies for licenses, permits, and security clearances.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Manage contracts with security agencies, equipment suppliers, and service providers.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to align security measures with business objectives.

• Mandatory: Ex-Serviceman (Captain/Major) with 10+ years of experience in security/operations.
• Prior experience in industrial security, preferably in manufacturing/FMCG/bottling plants.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV surveillance, access control, fire safety, and crisis management.
• Must be

  conversant in Tamil

  (to effectively communicate with local staff, authorities, and vendors).
• Proficiency in security technologies and threat assessment methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
