S/4 HANA Consultant

Position: Sr. Consultant – S/4 HANA Inventory/Logistics

Location: Remote (1 PM – 10 PM IST, flexible)

Duration: 2 months (with possible 1-month extension)

High-Level Scope:

Integrate S/4 HANA Purchase Orders (PO), Stock Transport Orders (STO), Production Orders, and Material Master Data with a 3rd party system.

Design S/4 data models for 3rd party integration.

Develop and expose OData services.

Document 3rd party API details (endpoints, parameters, data formats).

Establish secure authentication mechanisms.

Monitor service usage (logs, errors, performance).

Key Responsibilities:

Manage business requirements to define, build, configure, document, test, and deliver Supply Planning processes in S/4 HANA.

Support and implement global rollout of S/4 HANA Supply Planning solutions at enterprise scale.

Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies for feature delivery and support.

Collaborate with ABAP developers on custom developments, reports, and interfaces.

Identify and drive continuous improvement in Supply Planning processes.

Work closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, external consultants, and cross-functional teams.

Ensure seamless integration and data exchange using OData services for external system connectivity.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in science, business, engineering, or related field.

5+ years SAP S/4 HANA experience, with at least 5 years focused on SAP MM and Logistics.

2-3 full life cycle SAP S/4 implementations, emphasizing configuration, testing, and rollout.

Experience with OData services for real-time external integration.

Strong knowledge in Intercompany STOs, Purchase Orders, Planned Orders, and Inventory Management.

Familiarity with master data distribution (work centers, production versions, PDS).

Deep understanding of Material Master Data (MRP views) and Production Planning (BOM, recipes, work centers).

Experience with SAP MRP and integration across SAP MM, QM, and Logistics modules.

Basic ABAP skills:

Experience with Kinaxis interface implementations is a plus.

Basic knowledge of Snowflake integration is desirable.
