S2P Invoice Processing Sr. Manager


POSITION PURPOSE:

Lead a large, diverse Source-to-Pay (S2P) Invoice Processing team with a broad span of coaching and a significant global workforce (approximately 130–180 FTEs). Drive/steer transformative change, operational excellence, and strategic value creation across global operations. Champion VACC leadership principles to inspire bold outcomes in short cycles, deliver measurable value, and advance the vision: “Health for all, Hunger for none.”

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Visionary

  • Sets and communicates a compelling vision, aligning team goals with global strategy, KPIs, and DSO objectives for operational excellence and future readiness.
  • Sets strategic direction, leads major initiatives, and steers the team toward long-term success.
  • Maintains a holistic perspective of processes, ensuring integration and alignment across all operational areas.
  • Guides teams to define bold outcomes, generate stakeholder value, and deliver measurable impact.

Architect

  • Steers end-to-end process transformation through digitalization, automation, and lean principles, simplifying and standardizing operations in line with DSO.
  • Oversees complex, multi-country operations with a large span of control, ensuring robust process governance, compliance, and business continuity.
  • Provides clear operational guidance, adapts to changing business needs, and ensures resilience in dynamic environments.

Catalyst

  • Challenges the status quo, drives innovative solutions, and accelerates change for operational efficiency and value generation. Identifies opportunities for improvement and technology adoption, fostering a digital mindset and experimentation.
  • Co-creates solutions with internal and external partners (Procurement, Finance, Audit, Suppliers), enhancing user experience and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Empowers employees to take ownership, proactively addresses escalations, and transparently shares results and learnings.
  • Encourages cross-functional teamwork, inclusive behaviors, and open sharing of knowledge to drive superior user experience and stakeholder value.

Coach

  • Mentors and develops team leaders and individual contributors, enabling rapid cycles of learning and growth. Fosters talent management, succession planning, and builds diverse, inclusive teams.
  • Coaches and develops a large, geographically dispersed team, fostering a culture of learning, empowerment, and high performance.
  • Enables rapid short cycles of learning and development 30 – 60 - 90) , helping teams unleash their full potential through coaching and continuous feedback.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • University degree or equivalent education in Business Administration, Economics, Certified Public Accountant or comparable professional Education
  • 10 years on leadership positions (team lead, cluster lead / operations manager equivalant), preferably in shared services/global operations
  • Proven track record in leading and steering large, complex teams and transformation projects
  • Strong experience in leading global teams, collaborating in a multi cultural environment
  • Strong S2P/Accounts Payable process knowledge
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills
  • Proficiency in digital tools (Office 365, SAP, virtual collaboration platforms)
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing diverse teams, leaders and/or strategic positions
  • Flexible to support global operations across time zones
