Job Description

You should have a fair understanding of security market products such as Equity Cash, Equity Futures and Options, and Currency Derivatives. Your responsibilities will include performing both beginning of day (BOD) and end of day (EOD) activities. It is essential to complete the daily BOD activity before the market starts, ensuring that client positions and margins are set up in a timely manner without any client impact. Key Responsibilities: - Understand margin requirements for Cash and Derivatives segments including SPAN, Peak/EOD margin, and intraday margin. - Set up clients on the trading system, establish applicable broking rules based on client segments, update margins, facilitate margin withdrawals, and map restricted security baskets to respective client categories. - Monitor illiquid and banned securities from exchanges (BSE/NSE/MCX) and maintain restricted baskets for different client categories in the RMS. - Monitor client positions in real-time, manage margin call processes, margin alerts, and position square-off processes. - Collaborate closely with the Broking Ops team and Front Office (FO) for margining processes, tracking, and settlement follow-ups while adhering to the risk policy's escalation matrix. - Manage RMS of clients and the company in alignment with fund and securities allocation. - Resolve queries related to margins and perform continuous client limit monitoring. - Address any client queries regarding orders, trades, holdings, and positions. - Initiate square-offs for clients who reach 80% and above, square-off intraday positions at 3:15 PM, and handle trade and order backups. You must be a minimum graduate with a minimum of 3 years of experience. Your skills and knowledge should include an understanding of BOD and EOD processes, limit setting, and other RMS processes while being adaptable to evolving technologies. Additionally, you should have a fair understanding of regulatory circulars, compliance requirements, and regulatory filings for broking licenses with Exchanges/SEBI.
