Risk Management Specialist

As an RMS Executive at the Proprietary Trading Desk of a leading Stock Market Company in Mumbai, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Setting up and managing real-time risk monitoring systems for the prop desk. - Defining, implementing, and enforcing trading limits, margin policies, and exposure norms in coordination with the CTCL Vendor. - Tracking daily MTM, P&L, VaR, and capital utilization; escalating breaches immediately. - Working closely with traders to ensure smooth execution within defined risk limits. - Ensuring strict compliance with SEBI, Exchange, and internal RMS guidelines. - Liaising with vendors, dealers, and technology teams. - Drafting and maintaining SOPs for risk management processes. - Providing daily and periodic reports on positions, exposures, and risk metrics to management. Qualifications & Skills required for this role include: - Minimum 3 years of RMS experience in a Broking House (mandatory) - Strong understanding of equity, derivatives, and margining systems. - Proficiency in NSE/BSE risk systems, trading platforms, and MS Excel. - Analytical mindset with attention to detail and quick decision-making ability. - Excellent communication and coordination skills.
